GWireless

Please note that there is a known issue with Firefox 3 for Mac and the web-based VPN client. Mac users should use Safari with the pop-up blocker disabled.

Many students choose to bring laptops to campus, allowing them to take their computers with them wherever they go. GW provides wireless internet access (known as GWireless) in many public locations, allowing students, faculty and staff to connect even when they are away from their desks. In order to use the GWireless system you will need:

• A computer running Windows 2000/XP/Vista or Mac OS X
  
• An 802.11b or 802.11g wireless network card installed [?]
  
• A valid NetID and password
