Enabling Windows XP Automatic Updating

Step 1: To get to the Control Panel click on the start button and then select Control Panel from the Start Menu as shown in Figure 1.

Step 2: Once in the Control Panel, click on the Security Center icon.

Step 3: In the Security Center, click on the button to turn on Automatic Updates.

Step 4: When Automatic Updates is turned on the the Security Center window will look like this:
