Cisco Clean Access Setup

The University has implemented the use of Cisco Clean Access (CCA) to ensure that all computers connected to the network are patched and protected. Users with either the Windows 2000, Windows XP, or Windows Vista operating system must install the CCA agent on their system in order to access the network. This guide will walk through the installation of the agent.

After you have signed out and set up your ResNet equipment in your residence hall, you should be able to access a few websites. When you first open up a web browser, you will be redirected to a login page.

After installation completes, the CCA agent will start up and ask you to login. If it does not, restart your computer.

When you login, the program will check your computer to make sure that it meets the network's requirements. If your computer fails to meet a requirement, the CCA Agent will give you temporary access which will allow you to bring your computer up to date.

CCA will then go through and list any changes you need to make to your computer's configuration and all software that your computer is missing.
