Opera
Opera, touted as "The Fastest Browser on Earth,"
boasts many of the
same features as Mozilla Firefox, including integrated pop-up blocking,
web search and enhanced security. Opera also includes an email client.

Previously known as Gaim, Pidgin is an open-source, highly customizable instant messaging program. In addition to working across all major IM networks, including AOL, MSN, ICQ, IRC. Spybot is one of the most popular anti-spyware tools available, and is completely free.
