	Mozilla Firefox Mozilla Firefox has quickly become one of the most popular free browsers available. Firefox is known for its enhanced security features, speed, ease of use and customization options (done by adding Firefox extensions to the browser). Firefox includes integrated pop-up blocking, tabbed browsing (opens all websites inside of a single browser window) and built-in search functionality for many of your favorite websites, such as Google, Amazon and eBay. 	Opera Opera, touted as "The Fastest Browser on Earth," boasts many of the same features as Mozilla Firefox, including integrated pop-up blocking, web search and enhanced security. Opera also includes an email client. Although it was previously available as banner-supported software, this browser can now be downloaded for free from http://www.opera.com. Available for PC, Mac, and Linux
	Symantec Antivirus No matter what operating system you are using, antivirus software is a crucial security tool. As a member of the GW community, you can download Symantec Antivirus from the ISS Help Desk website. Available for PC and Mac
	Pidgin Previously known as Gaim, Pidgin is an open-source, highly customizable instant messaging program. In addition to working across all major IM networks, including AOL, MSN, ICQ, IRC. Google Talk, My Space IM, Yahoo, and 8 other IM networks, Pidgin is also more secure than most mainstream IM clients. Pidgin can be downloaded for free at http://www.pidgin.im/. 	Spybot Search & Destroy Spybot is one of the most popular anti-spyware tools available, and is completely free. If your computer has been running slowly or if you've been getting strange pop-ups, you should probably scan your system. Additional information on anti-spyware tools can be found here.
