Although it is not necessary, some users do choose to use AOL in addition to the high-speed network connection provided by GWU. If you would like to do this, please follow these instructions to establish a connection with AOL via the network.

1. From the main screen, select SETUP

2. In the AOL SETUP screen, select ADD LOCATION.

3. In the ADD LOCATION window, enter GWU.

4. Select the second option - "Select a connection using one of these available devices."

5. Select "TCP/IP: LAN or ISP (Internet Service Provider)"

6. Click NEXT to finish the setup.

7. Your AOL is now set up to use the ethernet to connect to AOL.

NOTE: If "TCP/IP: LAN or ISP" is not an option, your ethernet card is not installed correctly. If you need help, please call the STS hotline at 994-7041.
