The Student Health Service Outreach & Education program
The Student Health Service encourages students to make healthy choices by providing various health education and outreach events throughout the year.
The outreach program offers several activities that cover different health topics including:
- FREE Blood Pressure - Sexual Health - Women's/Men's Health - Nutrition - Smoking cessation programs

Located in Thurston Hall, 1900 F Street NW, Room 110. The Outreach Office provides:
- Information on nutrition and healthy eating - Information on current birth control methods - Tips for smoking cessation - Listings of health-related resources in the area - Free condoms
Staff members are available to discuss health concerns, direct you to health care, and answer questions. Appointments are available to work on nutritional issues or quitting smoking. In addition, staff and Peer Educators are ready and willing to facilitate programs on health issues for larger groups.
