                                            MedImmune Recall Information

The CDC announced earlier this week that some lots of MedImmune’s Intranasal H1N1 vaccine have been recalled due to decreased potency. Student Health has not received any of the batches in question.

The affected lots were shipped in October and early November and quality control testing shows that the shelf life may be shorter than expected. The recall is not a safety recall and no additional steps need to be taken by people who have received the vaccine.
