Dr. Chernak, a graduate of the GW
School of Education and Human Development, recently added to his professional portfolio the position of Professor.  As a new Faculty Member in the Graduate School of Education and Human Development, he currently  teaches courses in Higher Education Administration, particularly Decision Making and Strategy.

Vice President Chernak, or Bob as he prefers to be calls, is a friendly face at the University, having been involved in every aspect of campus life for a lifetime of students.

While his official University bio is very informative, there other aspects of his life which are important to him, including his passion for NCAA  Athletics like the GW Colonials.

He also is an avid fan of Boston area teams like the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots, the  Boston Red Sox and the Celtics.  His other hobbies include cards, TIVO, golf, travel, and fine local restaurants in the Washington area.

A resident of Bethesda, MD, with his wife Linda, he is also a proud GW parent to an incoming Graduate Student.  His daughter Jaclyn (BA Boston University, 2004), is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Education.

Bob is a particularly well respected leader by all of the University community and is widely known for his service to the profession.
