As part of the GW University, the Division of Student and Academic Support Services (SASS) exists to help students and staff achieve these characteristics. 

In SASS, students are first!  We are composed of departments and programs which serve students' academic, personal, social, and community needs.  Our talented, caring, and dedicated staff make serving students their mission.  

SASS is led by Dr. Robert A. Chernak, Senior Vice President.   Together, staff members on the SASS team learn, work, and serve as resources for the entire GW community.

Each unique unit in the SASS Division features a website hosted on the GWired Student Network, the place for student services at GW.

This website is a tool to

• understand our mission and the service resources available to students
• learn, grow, participate, and be recognized as a colleague 
• get involved in our efforts to build community on campus
