Rape Aggression Defense Systems (RAD)

"Empowering Women Through Self-Defense"
The University Police Department offers a self-defense course that consists of basic techniques from various martial arts disciplines.  Women learn to utilize their greater lower body strength enabling them to increase their power when defending themselves.  For more information, check out the RAD section on the UPD website, or contact Investigator Jeff Braden at jbraden@upd.gwu.edu.
