Last Chance: Hop On/Hop Off Tour

Hop on an open-top double-decker bus and experience the riveting sights the Nation’s Capital!  Purchase a two day hop on/hop off pass and choose your day to take a monument ride sight seeing tour! Stop by Marvin Center Suite 427 to purchase tickets, $20/person.  Tickets must be purchased by Friday, May 8th.  Pick-up/Drop-off information will be provided upon purchase.  Cash and GWorld accepted.

Class of 2009 Commemorative Photo

 

1:30 PM • Meet @ Kogan

2-3 PM • National Reflecting Pool

Kogan Plaza & Lincoln Memorial

Be the first class to take a commemorative photo on the steps of the National Reflecting Pool with the Lincoln Memorial as the backdrop.  Meet at Kogan Plaza for a Last Chance walk to one of GW student’s favorite places, grab your friends and get ready to smile.  In the event of inclement weather, the event will be canceled.  Please check the Grad Week website for cancellation updates.

Atlantic City Day Trip

12:15 PM-3 AM

Buses depart from Kogan Plaza

Make a quick getaway to the boardwalk, slots, and Steel Pier.  Tickets are $25 (1 per GWorld) and can be purchased in SAC (MC 427).  Cash, check, and GWorld accepted.  Participants will receive coin & food vouchers valued at $30/person.  Tickets will go on sale Monday, May 4th.

University Commencement on the National Mall

9:30am

National Mall between 4th & 7th Streets

Procession begins at 9:30am; Commencement at 10am.

Complimentary shuttles will run from campus to the National Mall beginning at 7:30AM.  Students should proceed to the National Mall and be there no later than 9AM.  Graduates are lined up by school on the grassy panels to the side of the guest seating area and will be directed by ushers in blue polo shirts.   Please visit the commencement homepage to view the Guide to Commencement PDF and Commencement maps.  http://www.commencement.gwu.edu for more information.
