They offer excellent, highly qualified climbing instructors in a friendly, welcoming and encouraging environment. We not only teach climbing and offer excellent facilities and programs, but we want to be a place where you can connect with other climbers, develop friendships, and improve your climbing skills.
Given the gym's great Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area location at the confluence of two major interstates and its 200-yard walk from the Van Dorn Metro station, many people have found that this indoor rock climbing gym is as convenient as a traditional health club. As a result SRII has found a niche among the 20-40 something crowd of Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C. seeking an interesting and different form of exercise and entertainment. The gym is also very popular with young adults and kids from the Virginia suburbs and nearby Washington and offers an extensive selection of classes for novice, intermediate or advanced climbers.
College Night
Sportrock is proud to present our college night. All college students interested in learning to climb or just want to climb are encouraged to join us. When you present a valid college ID or a current class roster you will receive some great benefits. You can get a walk-up admission for just $10 or take our Basic Skills class for only $20 equipment rentals are additional. We know the college years are financially tough for most of us and we don't want you to miss out on climbing. The college nights are offered in Alexandria every Monday and in Sterling every Wednesday.

Earth Treks
Earth Treks' mission is to "share our passion for climbing." Earth Treks' Climbing Centers are state-of-the-art indoor climbing gyms located in Columbia, Timonium and Rockville, MD offering climbing and instruction for all ages and abilities. Serving the greater Washington DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia Climbing Community.Earth Treks is a professional climbing guide service specializing in rock and ice climbing instruction and international mountaineering expeditions since 1990.

Take the Red Line to the Rockville Station. Exit to Rockville Pike, bearing left. Walk south on Rockville Pike, crossing Church Street. Cross Rockville Pike at Church Street. Walk approximately 4 blocks south, crossing East Jefferson Street to Richard Montgomery Drive and the Marlo building. Our entrance is located in the rear, southwest corner.

Adventure Schools Rock Climbing
Adventure Schools is the Capitol area's leader for Outdoor Rock Climbing. We offer Beginner thru Advanced Rock Climbing Lessons, Rock Climbing Instruction, Rock Climbing Guiding, Youth Climbing Programs and Scout Merit Badge Certification throughout Virginia, Maryland, West Virginia and the Washington DC area.
