1) All gear must be returned in CLEAN, DRY, and FUNCTIONAL condition! Renters are responsible for paying any costs related to cleaning or repair (minimum $10). In case of loss or destruction, renters must replace gear at the full retail price.
2) Late gear will be charged the full day rate for each day (or fraction of a day) that the gear is not returned. (Note that this actually isn't a penalty, but just a recuperation of costs that would have been charged had you paid for the full time you used the gear in the first place).
3) Gear rental rates for participants on GW TRAiLS outings are half-price; that is, TRAiLS outing participants receive a 50% discount on any gear rented for the trip that they are attending. Please note, however, that gear must be picked up before your trip date. If you wait until the day your trip leaves, we might not have the gear you need. And even if we DO have the gear you need, we will charge twice the above rate for gear rented on the day of your actual trip - this is necessary to encourage participants to NOT wait until the last minute to get their gear together! So please take care of your rental arrangements well ahead of time!
