The Walter G. Bryte, Jr. Achievement Award recognizes leadership, dedication, and service exemplifying the ideals of the United States of America and the George Washington University. Mr. Bryte was a Colonel in the US Air Force and the first professor of Air Science at The George Washington University. The award is presented to the residential advisory councils and/or registered student organizations that have displayed outstanding achievement at GW.
