Interfraternity Council (IFC) Rush Information Session and Orientation//7-9pm//Marvin Center Grand Ballroom and Terrace. Meet members of GW’s 16 IFC Fraternities, and learn about the upcoming Fraternity Rush process. Chapters will hand out Rush schedules and provide an overview of their organization. IFC chapter Rush events begin on Monday, September 14th, and IFC Bid Day is Saturday, October 3rd.

Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment Orientation Meeting//7-9pm//Marvin Center Grand Ballroom. Women registered for Panhellenic recruitment will have the chance to meet their recruitment counselors, and get a detailed overview of the recruitment process. Interested women should pre-register for recruitment by visiting http://gwired.gwu.edu/sac/greek. Panhellenic Recruitment takes place on Friday, September 11th, and runs through Monday, September 14th. Panhellenic Bid Day is on Tuesday, September 15th. Panhellenic Recruitment and the Freshman Day of Service are scheduled so interested women can participate in both activities.

Friday, September 11th

Freshman Day of Service//11am//Kogan Plaza. Freshman Day of Service is an opportunity to enhance your GW education trhough community service. This year the event will focus on serving those who have served us, the many veterans residing in the DC area, as well as those serving overseas. Sign in bgins at 11am in your residence halls and, for students who live at Mount Vernon, sign in will take place in Veteran's Park (next to the Fishbowl). Equestrian Team Open Tryouts//The George Washington University Equestrian Team//Tulip Pond Farm, Poolesville MD. The Equestrian Team will be holding tryouts and welcomes riders in all divisions.
