The Baer Award for Individual Excellence is a prestigious award developed in honor and memory of David A. Baer, a member of the class of 1910, for his involvement in and support for the University’s extra-curricular program. This award will honor those students who have demonstrated integrity and commitment in their overall conduct as members of the campus community. Recipients of the Baer Award have taken it upon themselves to make our community stronger and pledged to enhance student life through a variety of involvements. Additionally, these individuals exhibit competent scholarship in pursuit of their academic objectives.

In addition to the criteria listed above, nominees must have a record absent of academic of disciplinary probation. This will be checked for all nominees.
