The Class of 2005 9/11 Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to one rising senior each spring to be applied to the cost of tuition in their senior year. Those seeking this scholarship should have a demonstrated commitment to serving the public good and helping others in their time of need. It is the desire of the Class of 2005 (but not a prerequisite) to give preference to candidates that have volunteered or worked as first responders, or have participated in some form of military service. Candidates may be self-nominated or nominated by a peer, faculty or staff member. All candidates must have two full, remaining semesters as a full time student, not including Spring 2008.
