Celebration of Service 2009
Every spring, the partners, staff members and volunteers that make up the Office of Community Service come together to celebrate their hard work and dedication that has gone into the past year, including the thousands of volunteer hours that have been completed around the city.
In community service involvement, everyone affiliated with OCS has looked beyond her/himself and done amazing work. In light of that, we would like to recognize those people and organizations that have gone above and beyond answering our call to service. Please take a minute to fill out this nomination form for the following individuals (and group) to be recognized at the Celebration of Service.
Celebration of Service 2009 will take place on Thursday, April 30th from 4pm to 6pm. Tonic at Quigley’s Pharmacy will be hosting the event on the third floor of the restaurant (located at 2036 G Street NW Washington, DC 20052).
During the Celebration of Service, outstanding members of the GW community are honored for their sustained efforts and dedication to service.
Please fill out one of the following forms in order to nominate an Outstanding GW Administrator, Outstanding Community Partner Site, or and Outstanding Faculty member. If you wish to nominate more than one person or group, please submit two separate forms.
You can also nominate student leaders, faculty and staff, and student
organizations for the Excellence in 24th Annual Student Life Awards,
hosted by the Student Activities Center and co-sponsored by the Office
