Adopt-A-Family Program

We want to thank all of the people who donated gifts for Adopt-A-Family 2007.  We appreciate your generosity and support!  We also want to thank our community partners, without whom Adopt-A-Family would not have been possible.  Our community partners were:  Academy of Hope, CentroNia, Latin American Youth Center, Transitional Housing Corporation, and YMCA of D.C.Thank you!

What is Adopt-A-Family?

      - An annual tradition at GWU to provide families in need with gifts of clothing, household necessities, and toys.

Who can adopt?

      - Anyone!  Departments, student organizations, individuals, and more!

Who are the families in need?

      - Families are provided by DC social services agencies, including Academy of Hope, CentroNia, the Latin American Youth Center, Transitional Housing Corporation, the Salvation Army, and the YMCA.
