In Fall of 2003, The Student Activities Center, in collaboration with The Multicultural Student Services Center, Mount Vernon Campus Life and GW Housing Programs put forth an initiative to provide students with an opportunity to engage in critical, meaningful dialogue about issues that are pertinent to the development of global leaders. REAL (Relationships, Ethnicity, Activism, Life) Conversations is a product of this initiative.

REAL Conversations is an opportunity for students to discuss Hot Topics regarding diversity and inclusion in a safe and trusting environment. Through honest dialogue, students explore issues that are prevalent in society and that influence their everyday lives.

REAL Conversations occurs the 3rd Monday (Fall) and the 4th Monday (Spring) of each month at 7pm in Marvin Center 404.
