Emerging Leaders Program—A mentorship and leadership program that pairs first year students with continuing students to participate in activities designed to foster a smooth transition into the collegiate environment.

The "Last Lecture"—You've seen the clip of Randy Pausch's "Last Lecture" on YouTube.  Come see GW's version as a faculty member answers the question, "If you knew this was the last lecture you'd ever give to an audience of students, what would you say to them?"

REAL Conversations—A monthly diversity dialogue series that focuses on the relationship, ethnic, activism and life aspects of college student development. REAL Conversations provides an experience that is life-changing, serves to challenge students and potentially change their experience at GW, as well as their outlook on life in new and innovative ways.

SUMMIT Outdoor Challenge CourseThe SUMMIT outdoor challenge course is located on the Mount Vernon Campus and is a joint effort between the Student Activities Center and MVCL.  SUMMIT is one of the newest and most unique leadership and team-building tools available to GW students, faculty, and staff.
