Rich Alexander
Head PLM

“Take advantage of ELP and join as many student organizations as possible!”

Rich is a Junior majoring in Finance & Business Information Systems. He is from Manhasset, New York. Rich is a member of Pi Kappa Phi and the College Republicans. He is either biking, traveling, or listening to his favorite music. He’s a huge fan of NY Pizza and enjoys going to the Apple Store. Be sure to ask Rich about his trip to Singapore!


Matt Carlson

Head PLM

“Get involved in someway at GWU, but remember to leave time for you to relax!”
Matt is a Junior majoring in History. He is from Foxborough, Massachusetts. Snacks, Steak, and Sour Patch Kids are his favorites. Matt stays involved by being a part of Colonial Cabinet, STAR Tours, Dean’s Council, Program Board and Delta Tau Delta. He loves Ralph Lauren and exploring Washington DC. At nights, you can find him running at the National Mall or cooking dinner for his friends.

 


Danielle Desaulniers

“Get involved on campus!”

Danielle is a Junior majoring in Political Science. She is from Clinton, New Jersey. Danielle is a member of Alpha Delta Pi, VIP, International Affairs Society and Delta Phi Epsilon. She is a huge fan of salads from Chop’t and Ice-Cream with sprinkles. Her favorite hobbies are reading on the beach, cooking, and baking. She did musical theatre for 11 years and played Wendy in Peter Pan her senior year of high school.

Alison Dieringer

Alison is a Senior majoring in International Affairs and Economics. She is from Parkesbury, Pennsylvania. Alison is a member of Delta Phi Epsilon, Model United Nations, and GW Club Field Hockey. She is a fan of running, reading, and eating sushi. Alison loves J.Crew Outlets, Oreos and anything made with chocolate. Be sure to ask Alison about studying abroad in Kunming, China!


Clark Brown
PLM

“Keep an open mind. Be outgoing & push yourself outside your comfort zone!”

Clark is a Sophomore majoring in International Business. He is from Cherry Hill, New Jersey. He is a part of GW Housing Programs, Student Associate, and Dean’s Council for Multicultural Recruitment. His hobbies are traveling, acting, singing and reading. He is obsessed with WaWa, Toblerones and the show Amazing Race.



Courtnay Oddman

Courtnay is a Sophomore majoring in Communications with a Statistics minor. She is from Danville, California. Courtnay is a Crawford House Proctor, Colonial Caller and the President of GWU’s Toastmasters Organization. She is also a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She loves GW Basketball games, J.Crew and Animal Crackers from Trader Joes. Courtnay was a varsity member of her high school’s Speech and Debate team, and is not afraid of public speaking. Be sure to ask her about being raised in Kingston, Jamaica.

 



Drew Quinn
PLM

Join a lot of clubs/orgs early on, then stick with the ones you like best!”

Drew is a Junior from Atlantic City, New Jersey. He is a DC Reads tutor, Project Exploration guide, and a member of Pi Kappa Phi. He enjoys playing tennis, soccer, and going to the beach. Drew is a fan of tacos, chicken nuggets, and restaurant hopping with his friends. On weekends you can find him studying at Barnes and Noble in Georgetown.


Jiahe "Jamie" Lu

Have a great time in the program and get to know people!”

Jamie is a Sophomore majoring in Psychology. She is from Hainan, China. She is a Student Admissions Representative, a VIP summer tour guide, and is also a part of DC Today DC Tomorrow. Jamie loves eating spicy food, Cold Stone ice-cream, or Wheat Thins. Be sure to ask her about being an interpreter for an international medical conference.


Jonathan Read

“Take advantage of the many opportunities that GWU has to offer, and grow further as a person and a leader!”

Jonathan is a Sophomore majoring in Business Administration and Finance. He is from Foxboro, Massachusetts. He is a Class of 2012 Representative for Class Council and part of GW’s Club Baseball. He enjoys playing basketball. His favorite candy is Hershey’s.  Be sure to ask Jonathan about studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain.



Josh Irwin

Josh is a Sophomore majoring in Communications. He is from New York City and a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon. Josh loves to travel, bike, snowboard with friends, play basketball, and listen to music. He is the ultimate fan of GoodStuff restaurant. Josh enjoys eating Mike n’ Ikes. Be sure to ask him about his own DJ company; Jams by Josh!

 


Kaylee Sager

“Don’t be hurt if things don’t end up the way you planned”

Kaylee is a Sophmore majoring in International Affairs and Asian Studies with a minor in Business Administration. She is lived in Beijing, China before coming to GWU. Kaylee is a member of Alpha Delta Pi, the International Affairs Society, Sigma Iota Rho, Intervarsity, and the Women’s Leadership Program. She loves to travel and is very interested in China. She taught herself to play guitar. She is a fan of Target, Wingos, and trying new recipes.


Stephanie McMahon

Don’t close any doors your first year in college. In fact, open as many as you can even if you believe it is something far from your interest.”

Steffi is a Sophomore majoring in International Business. She is from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Steffi is a member of GW French Club and Alpha Delta Pi. She enjoys traveling and learning more about foreign cultures. Steffi loves music and can spend hours on iTunes. She is a fan of spicy food and onion rings, but strangely dislikes onions. Steffi’s favorite clothing store is Anthropologie.




Juliayn Lake

Juliayn is a Sophomore majoring in International Affairs and Dance. She is from Houston, Texas. Juliayn is a member of Sigma Kappa, Capital Funk and the Theatre and Dance Department. She loves Jamaica, along with various cultures and languages. She enjoys hot cookies and pickles. Juliayn’s favorite store is Buffalo Exchange. If you want to learn a new dance move, Juliayn is your girl!



Pete Smith

“Get involved on and off campus. You are only in DC for 4 years.”

Peter is a Senior majoring in Geography and International Affairs. He is from Mystic, Connecticut. Pete is a member of Army ROTC, Pi Kappa Phi, and GW Club Hockey. He loves to rock climb, sail, run, bike and swim. He is a fan of Snickers, and his favorite store is North Cove Outfitters. Be sure to ask Pete about going to boarding school!




Renee Nichols

Renee is a Junior majoring in Economics. She is from Seattle, Washington. Renee is a member of Alpha Delta Pi, Panhellenic Judicial Board and Alternative Spring Break.  She enjoys reading, traveling, and sleeping. Renee loves to explore restaurants in DC. Her favorite foods are Sour Patch Kids and Tostitos. Be sure to ask Renee about living in Oslo, Norway!
