GW Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgendered, and Questioning (LGBTQ)
health program is administered through Student Health Services. During
the 2008-2009 academic year, this pilot program will focus on
addressing the special health care concerns of The George Washington
University’s LGBTQ community. The program will provide a variety of health care services for LGBTQ students requesting:

- Immunizations against diseases particularly prevalent in the LGBTQ population.
- Sexually
transmitted disease counseling and testing by clinicians familiar with
the concerns of LGBTQ individuals. Screening for HIV, Gonorrhea,
Chlamydia, Herpes, HPV
- Non-judgmental
screenings and referral for mental health issues (such as coming-out,
depression, anxiety, relationship issues) affecting members of the
LGBTQ community.

issues. Appointments to see Dr. Reitman can be made online or by calling (202)994-6827.
