The mission of the George Washington University Parents' Association Advisory Council is:
- To enhance communication between the University and the parents of undergraduate students at The George Washington University and to develop a stronger parental constituency
- To serve as an ongoing forum for building and maintaining a strong bond with the University Administration
- To provide advocacy for The George Washington University students, parents and the University
- To provide a means whereby parents of students at the University can offer continuous support to each other
- To assist in promoting and enhancing the University both nationally and internationally
