The Parents' Association Advisory Council (PAAC) is the governing body of the GW Parents' Association. The PAAC meets three times annually: in October during Colonials Weekend, in February, and in June during Colonial Inauguration. The Bylaws of the Parents' Association stipulates that the Advisory Council may consist of 30 members. All Parents' Association members have the opportunity to vote for members and/or be elected to the GW PAAC. The call for nominations occurs in the month of November and elections are held in December; ballots will be available to members of the email listserv and are posted on the Parent Services Website during those months.
