The Office of Off-Campus Student Affairs and IKEA hosted the 3rd Annual Off-Campus Student Services Fair on Tuesday, March 4th, 2008.

Ø      Over 1200 students attended the event which featured over 40 participants from buildings and various vendors from the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia.

Ø      Our students searched and found apartments and homes to lease and buy furniture, new banks, cable, internet and phone deals, storage options, and lots of information about living in the Metropolitan DC area.

Ø      Our sponsors were able to "show their stuff" at the event and students lined up to see what they had to offer.  Sponsoring our event is a great, low cost way to heighten your image!

Ø      Hundreds of students stayed right up until the end of the event to try to win a prize in our raffle.  Prizes totaled over $6000 dollars including various IKEA furniture items, and gift cards to area restaurants, grocery stores, and electronic stores.  All prizes were donated to the event by our sponsors and all of the winners went home very happy.
