Service Through Engagement, Learning, Leadership, and Responsibility

STELLAR offers students an opportunity to integrate service into academic and professional goals through monthly group reflection and activity sessions.

OCS is currently recruiting first-year students to participate in STELLAR's pilot semester. As a STELLAR participant you will:

Meet once per month with other service oriented freshmen.
Engage with other students and the GW and DC communities as you begin your service work at DC.
Share community service experiences with others.
Read relevant articles and stories, participate in group activities, and learn from guest speakers.
Create meaningful connections to the DC community through service.
Help shape the new STELLAR program to enhance Service-Learning at GW this year and beyond.
