The Office of Academic Affairs is pleased to announce Mount Vernon Campus Privileged Registration Day on Friday, November 6th.
As a resident of the Mount Vernon Campus for the 2009 - 2010 Academic Year, you have the privilege of registering for Spring 2010 Mount Vernon Campus course sections before the rest of the GW Student community. This special registration privilege is available only on Friday, November 6th from 8:30am - 4:30pm in the Mount Vernon Campus Registrar and Graduation Services Office (Academic Building Room 102). Please note that the Foggy Bottom Campus Registrar’s Office in Colonial Central will not process these forms. The process must be completed in the Mount Vernon Campus Registrar and Graduation Services Office.
In order to take advantage of this privilege, please follow the instructions outlined below:
- Login to the MyGW Portal to check any holds that may have been placed on your account (i.e. advising holds, immunization holds, financial holds, student account holds, Gelman/Eckles Libraries, etc.).
- Be advised by your faculty advisor or your school advising office
- Download a Registration Transaction Form (RTF-EZ) from the Office of the Registrar’s website or visit the Mount Vernon Campus Registrar and Graduation Services Office (Academic Building, Room 102) or the Foggy Bottom Campus Registrar’s Office at Colonial Central in the Marvin Center).
- Check the Spring 2010 Schedule of Classes for the Mount Vernon Campus. Remember you will only be able to register for Mount Vernon Campus course sections on Friday, November 6th.
- Your name must appear on the Mount Vernon Campus Residence Hall roster, provided to the Mount Vernon Campus Registrar & Graduation Services Office by GW Housing Programs.
- A valid photo ID (Driver’s License or GWorld Card) is needed to process the Registration Form (RTF-EZ). Also, be able to provide your GWID.
Friday, November 6th – Mount Vernon Campus Resident Privileged Registration Day:
- From 8:30am - 4:30pm, proceed to the Mount Vernon Campus Registrar and Graduation Services Office (Academic Building, Room 102). Bring your completed Registration Transaction Form (RTF-EZ) with Mount Vernon course selections ONLY! Be sure to bring your photo ID and know your GWID.
- Review a copy of your Spring 2010 Mount Vernon Campus courses schedule online and begin planning the remainder of your schedule. Refer to the Registrar’s website to determine your date to register for Foggy Bottom Campus and/or other classes for Spring 2010.
