St Patrick’s Episcopal Church Presents: The 7th Annual Bach Brandenburg Festival Fri Nov 20 and Sun Nov 22 // 7:30pm // St Patrick’s Episcopal Church (4700 Whitehaven Parkway) You’ll most certainly want to catch the 7th Annual Bach Brandenburg Festival, this year featuring the Eclipse Chamber Orchestra, at St Pats Church across the street from campus. Screening of The Magic Flute Fri Nov 20 // 8-11pm // Preview Room B, Eckles League If the Bach Brandenberg Festival at St Pat’s isn’t enough culture for you, join us as to watch Indiana University’s Opera program perform Mozart’s The Magic Flute. This classic tail has been redesigned with colorful sets and puppets – so if you’re a fan of opera or even mildly interested, you won’t want to miss this!

The 7th Annual MVC Post-Thanksgiving Dinner! Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week: Campus-Wide Food Drive Mon Nov 16 – Fri Nov 20 // Donation boxes around GW (both FB and MV) Help GW achieve the goal of collecting 1500 pounds of canned food to benefit the Capital Area Food Bank. Catholicism and Homosexuality Thu Nov 19 // 7-8:30pm // Marvin Center 301 Join Allied In Pride in a discussion about Catholicism and Homosexuality with Gregory Gerard, author of In Jupiter’s Shadow. Gregory Gerard’s gay memoir is a plea to Cardinal Francis George to consider how an upcoming pastoral letter will affect future generations of religious children who struggle with same-sex attraction.
