Thursday, April 28

Well, it’s been a good run folks. We've had some great times this year, what with Octoberfest, GW Bazaar , more Wacky Wednesdays than we can count, Iron Chef, Fountain Day, and all that free coffee in Eckles.

And we’ve shared a lot too – 33 regular issues of WHAMV actually, plus a few off-Thursday mailings. We always knew this day would come, that the year would end, but that really doesn’t make this any easier.

We’ve really enjoyed watching you all grow up this year. And as tough as it is to say goodbye, it’s for the best right? It’s kind of like you’re all leaving the nest. And well… I told myself I wasn’t going to cry… we’re going to miss you, okay? Just don’t be a stranger, alright?

As you are finishing up, remember to keep in touch with your favorite staff and faculty. And even after you’ve moved off of the Vern, there’ll be plenty to keep coming back for. Drop by the pool on a sunny day. Come over for Brunch on a Sunday morning. Relax on the Quad when it gets warm. Pop in on your favorite professor. Study in Eckles when Gelman gets too hot. Take a few classes in the Academic Building. Get your student org on the
SUMMIT course. Come back for a Wacky Wednesday you liked the first time around. Or just ride The Vern Express for a few minutes for the fun of it.

Seriously, it’s been great folks. Good luck on finals and have a great summer. Sniff.
