FILMS ON THE VERN PRESENTS: "From Real to Reel," showcasing real events or real people that have affected the world in which we live. Movies will be shown every Wednesday night from July 8 through August 12, 2009 at 8:30pm on the Mount Vernon Campus Quad, with the exception of the last film on August 12th, which will be shown at the Outdoor Pool at Mount Vernon. Summer-2 Schedule for The Vern Express
Mon June 15 through Thu July 2

Weekdays (except for Tue June 16, Tue June 23, and Wed July 1, on which The Vern Express will run on a special CI Day 2 schedule)
7am – 8pm: Departures every 15 minutes from both campuses
Saturdays and Sundays (except for Sat June 27, on which The Vern Express will run on a special CI Day 2 schedule)
8am – 8pm: Departures every 15 minutes from both campuses
CI Day 2 (Tue June 16, Tue June 23, Sat June 27, and Wed July 1)
7am – 5pm: Continuous departures (every 5-10 minutes) from both campuses
5pm – 8pm: Departures every 15 minutes from both campuses

Summer-3 Schedule for The Vern Express
Fri July 3 through Thu Aug 20
Except for Sat July 4, on which The Vern Express will run on a 30-minute schedule from 8am to Midnight.
On Wed July 15, Wed July 22, Wed July 27, Wed Aug 5, and Wed Aug 12, the Express will offer additional service (see below) in support of the Films on The Vern film series.

Weekdays

8pm – Midnight (only on Wed July 15, Wed July 22, Wed July 27, Wed Aug 5, and Wed Aug 12): Departures every 30 minutes from each campus

8am – 8pm: Departures every 30 minutes from each campus

Notes* When running on a 30-minute schedule, The Vern Express makes departures from the Foggy Bottom Campus at :00 and :30 past the hour and from the Mount Vernon Campus at :15 and :45 past the hour.
The one-way trip typically takes between 10 and 13 minutes, although may take longer during weekday rush hours (7am-10am and 3pm-7pm). Passengers are encouraged to plan accordingly. During these times, because of rush hour traffic, it may also be difficult to remain precisely on schedule.
