Welcome to the Multicultural Student Services Center (MSSC) at The George Washington University (GW).  The MSSC stands firmly in its role as GW's center for multicultural communication, community building, and leadership.  The "Center" collaborates with major university offices including:  the Student Activities Center, the Community Living and Learning Center, Career Services, Undergraduate Admissions, Office of Community Service, Graduate Admissions, and the Counseling Center.  In partnership with these allies we strive to develop co-curricular and experiential learning opportunities for GW Students that:

    1. Support the shaping of a campus climate that welcomes cultural, racial, ethnic, and intellectual diversity.
    2. Support the academic, cultural, social, spiritual and professional growth of the students we serve.
    3. Support the retention, inclusion and increase in participation rates of students of color.

The MSSC Staff generates and manages a wide range of academic programs, cultural program, resources, and services for the GW community.  One critical part of our mission is to insure that GW students of color draw maximum benefit from this high quality university experience.
