Are you graduating May 2007?
If you answered YES to this question and identify as someone with an African cultural root, Black, African, Caribbean, Latin American or African- American, I welcome you to the new George Washington University Black Alumni Association (GWBAA)!
The GWBAA was established in the fall of 2004 by L. Trenton Marsh, (MA, '04) with the assistance of the Multicultural Student Service Center.
Although GWBAA has not been officially acknowledged by the Office of
Alumni Affairs, we are confident that our growth and positive impact on
campus will lead to full recogntion as a GW Alumni Chapter.
GWBAA's
purpose is to foster a sense of community among the Black alumni by
supporting the academic, professional, social, and spiritual growth of
our fellow alums. The GWBAA encourages alumni to: become active members
of the GW community, support current GW students, develop Africentric
Alumni programming, and encourage scholarship.

we will be charted as a Black association, every member--regardless of
race--will be accepted who supports the purpose of the organization.
