MissionWe, the members of the Organization, What’s in a Doctor’s Bag?, strive to create a cohesive group that enables us to teach children from pre-kindergarten to second grade about what doctors do at a medical visit. By teaching basic medical concepts in an interesting way, we aspire to lessen the fear kids may face when time comes to go to the doctor. This hesitation to visit the doctor is an underemphasized concern amongst children, as consistent doctors visits play a crucial role in developing lifelong healthy habits. By stressing the importance and making the material fun and engaging for the children, we will educate and alleviate any fear they may face.
