Welcome to the Marvin Center!
As The George Washington University's Student Union The Marvin Center offers an array of meeting and major event space for your organization's event needs. However, for a successful event to take place careful planning must occur and the pieces must be in place before the day of your event. The following section will outline the different venues available to you and the steps that need to be taken in order to schedule and plan your event. Although this process may seem intimidating at first, fear not! Careful planning before your event reduces the risk of any problems occurring during the event. In essence a little hard work at first will allow you to kick back and enjoy your event the day of.
All events using outdoor space, meeting space, major event space, the Dorothy Betts Marvin Theatre, table space, banner space, and/or the Hippodrome must be coordinated through Marvin Center and University Conferences. The following is a link to all MC Policies. Please read all policies carefully. All organizations are responsible for following all Marvin Center and outdoor policies and are responsible for insuring that all policies are adhered too by individuals attending their event.
