Licensing and Trademarks Program

Codes of Conduct

The George Washington University is committed to conducting their business affairs in a socially responsible and ethical manner and protecting and preserving the global environment. For this reason, GW has taken measures to insure that the vendors they utilize also share this same view. All GW vendors must comply with the Follett and Collegiate Licensing Company Labor Codes of Conduct and any other codes and standards later adopted by the University. All GW vendors must disclose factory locations that are subject to outside audits, and be in compliance with the Labor Code standards. Any vendor/factory found in violation may be terminated immediately from the GW Licensing and Trademarks Program.

In order to better serve the University community and our vendors, both the Collegiate Licensing Company and the Follett Labor Codes of Conduct are available for viewing on this site.

If there are any questions regarding the Labor Codes of Conduct, please direct any questions to the Licensing and Trademarks Program in the Office of the Senior Vice President for Student and Academic Support Services, Rice Hall 403.
