This year we welcomed almost 450 new international students to the George Washington University with a redesigned four day long International Student Orientation. Sessions were offered to cover housing, immigration, academics and employment as well as tours and outings in the Washington, DC area. Thank you to everyone who made this year a success! |

Fall 2005 Graduate Student Reception
The International Services Office was proud to co-sponsor the International Graduate Student Reception at Mt. Vernon. International graduate students from spring, summer and fall terms were invited to meet other grads, chat with representatives from international clubs and meet GW staff and administrators. |

Fall 2005 International Student Orientation
All of our new international students joined us for International Student Orientation on August 24th. Sessions covered immigration, campus life and health and safety. Students traveled from all over the world to get here. The award for the longest trip went to a student who had traveled over 30 hours to arrive from Singapore! Welcome to all new students. We are pleased that you have joined the GW community. |
