We hope you can make it!

Dear International Students and Friends,

Join international and American students in a weekly Cross-Cultural Dialogue Group called Conversation, Communication, and Culture (C3).  Each week we discuss a different aspect of American culture while simultaneously practicing our English language skills.

Domestic students benefit from this program by sharing information on their native country while meeting interesting students from around the world.  In this group, we will also explore international cuisines through potluck dinners and outings to area ethnic restaurants.

Previously discussed topics have included dating in the U.S., American holidays, networking and interviewing for jobs, and understanding American idioms and slang.  Topics for the fall semester will be choosen during the first few meetings.

Come enjoy snacks and refreshments with your international and American friends!

If you are interested in this program or have any questions, please contact Joanna at iso@gwu.edu

Hope to see you there!
