Maintaining your address in GWeb is extremely important as this is the address we will be reporting to SEVIS in order for you to maintain your status.  In order to register you with SEVIS, your permanent address must be outside of the U.S. and your current address must be where you are physically living while taking classes at GW. It is your responsibility to make sure that this address is accurate whenever you move. 

1. Go to http://my.gwu.edu/
2. Click on “GWeb Info System”
3. Enter your User ID and Pin
4. Go to “Personal Information Menu”
5. Go to “Update Addresses and Phones” (See below for an example of GWeb’s “Update Addresses and Phones” computer screen)
6. Select “Current” as the type of address to insert. Make sure you include a ‘Valid From/Until’ date
7. Click the “Save” button at the bottom of the page
8. Verify that your address was updated correctly
9. E-mail the ISO at iso@gwu.edu with the following information: your name, GWid number and your new address.
10. If you need to update this address in the future, click on the “Current” link to the left of the address and insert the new information
