BUILDINGS
The George
Washington University
offers two different types of residence halls to Short-Stay Conference Groups.
All buildings on campus are air-conditioned and many include private or shared
bathrooms.
Conference Hall rooms provide the feel of more traditional
dorm style living, though many rooms include a private bathroom or share a
bathroom with another room. The halls in this category are: Potomac House,
Crawford, and Lafayette on the Foggy Bottom Campus, as well as Somers, Clark,
Cole, Merriweather, and Hensley on the Mount Vernon Campus. Space will be
assigned based on Campus Preference. Pelham Hall on the Mount Vernon
Campus will be closed for the Summer 2009 season.
Apartment-Style rooms are set up studio style as one large
living space and have a private bathroom and a kitchen. The hall in this
category is Schenley on the Foggy Bottom Campus. Space will be assigned
as available.
The Living @ GW
website site can provide more specific information regarding amenities
available in these residence halls.
