All Intramural leagues and tournaments open registration at the beginning of the semester and set a deadline a week before games begin. To secure a time slot, captains are urged to get their forms in early (not all sports allow early entry).

1. Obtain an entry form and fill out the roster from our website or pick them up at the GW Campus Recreation Office in the Lerner Health and Wellness Center. Online info sheets can be downloaded by clicking the sport of your choice.

2. Fill out your entry form. This must be legible and filled out completely. (If we cannot read your entry form we will not process it and we will discard it.)

3. Fill out the Roster form. No team will be accepted WITHOUT the minimum roster requirements. Click here to download the Roster Form.

3. Pick a division. Read your info sheet and see what divisions are being offered. Then choose the appropriate division. If you choose something that is not offered we will just put you in the next available division, so please read carefully.

4. Fill out the captain's information completely. Without this information your entry form will be rejected. If this information is falsified we will drop your team from the league and charged you the appropriate forfeit fee.

5. Finally, turn your entry form in to the Campus Recreation office during the registration period (which varies) prior to the deadline.

6.  Be sure to attend the captains' meeting for your sport.  Playoff eligibility will be subject to your attendance at this meeting.
