The Department of Campus Recreation in The Lerner Health and Wellness Center is seeking friendly, customer service oriented staff with a great work ethic and a passion for fitness. This is a great opportunity to get involved in the fun and rewarding world of Campus Recreation. Develop leadership and communication skills interacting with patrons on a daily basis; opportunities for promotion available.
Minimum commitment of 10 hours per week for at least two consecutive semesters. May include early mornings, late evenings, and/or weekends.

The primary role of a lifeguard is to ensure the safety of patrons in and around the pool and throughout the facility. Duties include but are not limited to, supervision of patrons, cleaning, policy enforcement, and coordinating use of all audio equipment.
Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid certifications (or equivalent) are required. Certification for Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguarding Instructor are highly recommended. Previous lifeguarding experience is preferred. A high level of maturity and the desire to work as part of a team are also expected.

No prior officiating experience is needed. Officials are needed for basketball, flag football, floor hockey, soccer, softball and volleyball.
