The GW Sailing Team is for competitive sailors and newcomers alike. In addition to our top-notch intercollegiate racing team, we offer an extensive learn-to-sail program several times each semester. In the Spring of 2009, we received six brand-new sailboats, and relocated to a new training facility right across the river in Alexandria, Virginia. Racing practices are held four times a week in the afternoons, with regattas taking place on selected weekends. Our learn-to-sail sessions happen on the weekends as well.
