Cycling

The GW Cycling Club has existed at GW since the Fall of 2007. The club operates as a team and competes from February to May in the Atlantic Collegiate Cycling Conference.  This past season, GW riders carried the team to a respectable 6th place overall after the Conference Championships. GW also secured the conference championship in the C Race Category.

Given the nature of the sport, most training is individual, however the team holds a weekly ride throughout the school year and summer leaving the Marvin Center H street entrance at 10am every saturday.  Any student, faculty, or alumni are welcome and encouraged to join. The team annually has riders compete in the Collegiate Nationals held in May and is looking to add more competitive riders. For more information please visit the GW cycling website.
