Information and Equipment Desk

The Department of Campus Recreation in the Lerner Health & Wellness Center is looking for friendly, customer service oriented Information and Equipment Desk staff to work mornings and evenings at the Lerner Health and Wellness Center. Lifeguard

The primary role of a lifeguard is to ensure the safety of patrons in and around the pool and throughout the facility. Duties include but are not limited to, supervision of patrons, cleaning, policy enforcement, and coordinating use of all audio equipment.
Current American Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, and First Aid certifications (or equivalent) are required. Certification for Water Safety Instructor and Lifeguarding Instructor are highly recommended. Previous lifeguarding experience is preferred. Group Fitness Instructor

Fitness Consultant 

Responsibilities include providing Fitness Assessments and Equipment Orientations for GW students/faculty/staff (by appointment) and assisting patrons with fitness center and/or exercise related inquiries.  The position is also responsible for maintaining the daily operations of the LHWC Fitness Center (performing cleaning duties as assigned and log/inform managers of maintenance needs for all malfunctioning equipment, etc.).

Qualified applicants should be highly motivated, team players who are willing to provide quality service to Lerner Health and Wellness Center patrons.  Qualified applicants must also demonstrate and maintain proficiency in Fitness Assessments, Equipment Orientations, and weight room safety.  Exercise Science majors and individuals with previous work experience in a fitness center are encouraged to apply. Intramural Sports Official
If you have a knowledge of athletics, or enjoy having a job that can keep you on the move and physically fit, an intramural sports official is the position for you.
