Lost or Stolen Card

If your card is misplaced for whatever reason, you should immediately report the card as lost or stolen. You can suspend your card in several ways:

With any of these methods, you can temporarily deactivate your card and all associated accounts. This will keep your card from being used for unauthorized access to residence halls and buildings, in addition to safekeeping of funds tied to your card. If you find your card you will need to come to the GWorld Card Office to have it re-activated.

The GWorld Card Program does not take responsibility for charges made using your card before you report it to us as lost or stolen. Please see GWorld Cardholder Usage Guidelines for liability limits. Replacement cards cost $25. There is no charge to replace cards damaged by normal use if you turn the damaged card in to the GWorld Card Office.

Remember that the GWorld Card is your passport for access and services at GW. You want to ensure that you always know where your card is.
