* All freshmen and sophomores are required to live on campus.

** New entering GW students will pay this fixed tuition rate for up to a total of 10 consecutive semesters as long as the student maintains full-time continuous enrollment. The full-time tuition rate covers costs for 12-17 hours per semester.

$1,272 is the per credit hour rate for less than 12 credits per semester for all Undergraduates.  Undergraduates exceeding 17 credits in a semester will be charged extra on a per credit basis (18 credits is the maximum for SEAS students and students in the Honors Program).

****Reflects an estimated minimum Colonial Cash plan for dining of $3,400 for the year.   Colonial Cash is a declining balance, flexible spending program, featuring dining options available on and off campus.  Please refer to http://living.gwu.edu/dining for the complete range of meal plan options and costs to satisfy all appetites!   The Room calculation is a cost of $7,130 for the year, students who opt for a higher room option will be responsible to cover this extra expense from his/her own resources, or a PLUS/alternative loan option.

***** Students may expect to pay an average of $1,275 for books and supplies and $1,450 for personal/ miscellaneous expenses (supplemental food costs, laundry, entertainment, etc.) for an average total of $2,725. Many of these expenses can be managed through the Colonial Cash plan.
