Endowed Scholarships Requiring Self Nomination

The following endowed scholarship fund has unique eligibility requirements and, because of that, we ask that students notify the Office of Student Financial Assistance if they feel they qualify. This fund is available to continuing students only.

Robert Kilgore Scholarship- This award is available to students interested in parliamentary procedure. Students wishing to be considered for the award must submit an essay of three to four hundred words on some aspect of parliamentary procedure as taught in Robert’s Rules of Order Newly Revised. The essay must be submitted no later than June 1^st. The essays will be submitted to the English Department for evaluation. The student submitting the best essay will be offered the award. Students must also have applied for financial assistance and demonstrate financial need.
