How to Apply 2008-09

Step 1: Complete the 2008-2009 Financial Aid Application packet.

Step 2: Return the completed GW Application for Financial Assistance and all required documents to GW's Office of Student Financial Assistance.
-Priority deadline: April 25, 2008

Step 3: Complete and file the 2008-2009 CSS Profile Renewal Form with the College Scholarship Service. GW's code is 5246.
-Priority deadline: April 25, 2008
Please Note:  The 2008-2009 CSS Profile Renewal Form can no longer be completed online.  Please visit our office in Colonial Central on the Ground Floor of the Marvin Center to pick up a paper copy of the CSS Profile or please contact our office to have one mailed to you.

Step 4: Complete and file the 2008-2009 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with the Department of Education processing center. GW's code is 001444.
-Priority deadline: April 25, 2008

Award notifications will be sent to students via email throughout the summer months.  Students are encouraged to monitor their GW email accounts throughout the summer for their award notifications as well as other important correspondences from our office.
