$1,090 per credit hour for fewer than 12 credits per semester for all undergraduates. A student exceeding 17 credits in a semester will be charged extra on a per credit basis.

Students may expect to pay an average of $1,000 for books and supplies and $1,350 for personal expenses (supplemental food costs, laundry, entertainment, etc.) for an average total of $2,350. Many of these expenses can be managed through the Colonial Cash plan.

Note: Students majoring in SMPA who entered GW in spring 2004 or earlier have an additional tuition charge of $1,000. Students enrolled in SMPA, SEAS, or ESIA who entered GW in the 2004-2005 academic year have a tuition charge of $35,000.
