The Julius Fleischman Scholarship
Applicants and parents are welcome to contact us with any questions. We will do our best to assist you in facilitating the application. The
Julius Fleischman Scholarship for Blind or Visually Impaired Students was
established by a gift from Julius Fleischman to assist students who are legally
blind. It is hoped that the scholarships given by the Julius Fleischman
Foundation for the Blind and Visually-Impaired will help students in the future
to be able to manage their conditions and enhance their opportunities for
advancement. The Julius Fleischman Scholarship is awarded annually. The number of scholarships and the amount of each award are determined each year.
Applicant
Eligibility
Undergraduate students who
are legally blind as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and
who are registered to receive services from the Office of Disability Support
Services are eligible for the Julius Fleischman Scholarship. Applicants must be
